EDC's and Other harmful chemicals to avoid

EDC's, or endocrine disrupting chemicals, are chemicals or mixtures of chemicals that interfere with the body's endocrine system and hormone production. These and other carcinogenic chemicals can unfortunately be found in everyday products from cleansers to baby products and even cosmetics.
What makes EDC's and other chemicals so harmful, especially in cosmetics, is that these chemicals can, by way of oils, lotions, and creams etc, absorb completely into the bloodstream in less than 30 seconds. Once it reaches the blood stream it is then distributed throughout the entire body into the glands, tissues, and organs contributing to maladies such as tumors, damaged DNA, reproductive issues, and organ shut downs to name a few.
